- You’ll be picked up early in Johannesburg or Pretoria for the drive to Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Upon arrival around 9:00 AM, your first 2.5 to 3-hour game drive begins in a closed tour vehicle, offering you a glimpse of the Big Five. After a light lunch at Pilanesberg Centre near a scenic waterhole, you’ll check in at Manyane or Bakgatla Resort. Later, join an open-vehicle safari for another game drive before returning to camp for a guide-prepared dinner and a night under canvas.
