Embark on a 5-day camping adventure in the Amazon jungle from Iquitos. Camp at the top of the Palo Alto Mirador, a 3-story observation tower, and see a variety of monkeys, birds, and other wildlife.

Depart from Iquitos and travel to the port town of Nanay. From there, travel by boat downriver. Along the way, spot wildlife such as caimans, turtles, herons, pink river dolphins, snakes, and many other species of flora and fauna along the riverbanks. Stop at Monkey Island, where you can observe and interact with a variety of monkeys in their natural habitat, including sloths, Goeldi’s monkeys, Tamarin monkeys, Capuchin monkeys, Yellow-Handed Titi monkeys, Masked Titi monkeys, Woolly monkeys, Squirrel monkeys, Spider monkeys, and more. You will also have the chance to hold large Anacondas, Boas, and interact with the rare Amazonian mata-mata turtle. The island is also home to alligators, turtles, toucans, macaws, and parrots. Continue your journey to the Yanayacu tributary, where you will set up camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a dolphin-watching session with the possibility of spotting pink river dolphins. If you’re lucky, you may even swim with them in the river. At night, embark on a nocturnal nature hike to observe lizards, snakes, spiders, and possibly monkeys.
