Your adventure begins in Budapest as you travel toward Romania, stopping in Arad and Timisoara—cities filled with Austro-Hungarian charm. Continue through Serbia with a visit to the Vršac Fortress before arriving in Belgrade for a guided tour of the vibrant Serbian capital. Cross into Bosnia to explore Sarajevo's East-meets-West heritage, then continue to Mostar for its iconic Old Bridge and the natural beauty of Vrelo Bosna.
In Croatia, visit the stunning Kravica Waterfalls before reaching Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” for a memorable city tour. The journey continues along the Adriatic to Montenegro’s walled city of Kotor and then onward to Tirana, Albania’s lively capital. Explore Ohrid, the “Pearl of the Balkans,” with its lakeside panoramas, Byzantine churches, and rich cultural heritage. Optional visit to the serene Sveti Naum Monastery adds to the experience.
Crossing into Greece, discover the lakeside town of Kastoria before reaching Meteora, where monasteries sit atop dramatic rock pillars. From there, travel to Thessaloniki, rich in ancient and Byzantine landmarks, and then onward to Bulgaria. Visit the magnificent Rila Monastery and explore the capital city of Sofia.
Continue across Bulgaria to the medieval former capital Veliko Tarnovo before entering Romania’s dynamic capital, Bucharest. Visit its iconic boulevards and Old Town before journeying into Transylvania to explore Peles Castle, Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle), Sibiu, and the spectacular Gothic Corvin Castle. Return to Timisoara and Arad before completing the circle back to Budapest.

Itinerário dia a dia
After breakfast you'll meet your guide who will pick you up from the hotel and accompany you for the remaining part of this tour and head into Romania. After crossing the border at Arad, enjoy a brief walking tour of this culturally rich Transylvanian town. Discover Arad's architectural gems, such as the City Hall Palace, the Palace of Culture, the neo-Gothic Red Church, the Roman Catholic Church, and the neoclassical State Theatre. You can also stop for lunch at a local restaurant if time permits. Than continue to overnight at a hotel in Timisoara.
