- (Tuesday) Individual arrival at Siem Reap airport and welcome by your tour guide. Depending on your arrival time, you will drive to your overnight hotel or directly to the magnificent Angkor Wat, the largest Buddhist temple in the world. This attractive temple complex rises 65 meters into the air and is crowned by 5 towers, which are modeled on lotus flowers. From the Phnom Bakheng temple, you have the opportunity to admire the jungle landscape in the light of the setting sun - a wonderful photo opportunity and a fitting start to a wonderful journey. Check-in at the hotel is possible from around 2 pm, but takes place later on this day after the day's sightseeing program. 2 nights at the Tara Angkor Hotel Siem Reap (upper middle class, national category: 4 stars).
