Your Galápagos adventure begins upon arrival at San Cristóbal Island, where you will complete the Galápagos National Park entry procedures before being transferred to the elegant Galapagos Horizon Trimaran. After settling into your cabin and enjoying a welcome briefing, you will set out for your first excursion.
Visit the Interpretation Center, an excellent introduction to the Galápagos Islands. Through engaging exhibits, you will learn about the archipelago’s volcanic origins, unique ecosystems, ocean currents, and the conservation efforts that help protect its extraordinary wildlife. The center also provides fascinating insights into the human history of the islands, from their discovery to the present day.
Return to the trimaran and enjoy your first evening onboard as you prepare for the remarkable experiences ahead.
