Itinerário dia a dia
Welcome to the Sacred City of Lhasa!
Upon your arrival in Lhasa, whether by flight or train, our warm and friendly Tibetan guide will be waiting to greet you. You will be welcomed with a traditional Hada—a ceremonial white scarf symbolizing purity, goodwill, and blessings—offering you a heartfelt introduction to Tibetan hospitality.
After this warm welcome, your guide and driver will escort you comfortably to your hotel located in downtown Lhasa. During the drive, you’ll catch your first glimpses of Tibet's natural beauty, including the Yarlung Tsangpo River (known as the Brahmaputra River), Tibet's longest and largest river, and the serene Lhasa River, flowing gracefully through the region.
Once you arrive at the hotel, take the rest of the day to relax and allow your body to adjust to Lhasa’s high altitude (3,656 meters/11,990 feet). Resting is essential to prevent altitude sickness and ensure a comfortable journey ahead.
Later in the afternoon or evening, your guide will reconnect with you, presenting small traditional Tibetan gifts as a token of welcome. You’ll also receive important travel briefings, including essential tips for acclimatization and safety guidelines. Additionally, you'll have the chance to meet your fellow travelers and begin forming bonds for the days ahead.
Overnight Stay: Comfortable hotel in Lhasa.
