The UNESCO World Heritage Listed Subterranean River National Park is unique, allowing you to travel by boat through 8km of caves on the underground river. You will also find a fusion of old buildings including ancient walls and stone churches that are thousands of years old, that depict the ancient local and Spanish influences of the time. The Philippines is also known for its fiestas, and the annual Masskara Festival is a time when Bacolod comes alive with vibrant smiling faces and celebration. In the cities you will find malls and fast food restaurants, yet the culture and heritage of the locals still remains evident.
