Trekking Nepal’s Remote Nar Phu Region - Off-the-beaten-Path
Koto · Meta · Phu · Nar · Bandipur · Kathmandu
Resumo da viagem
The Nar-Phu Valley sits between the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges in one of Nepal's most isolated corners. This 12-day trek takes you into terrain that remains among the least visited in the Himalayas.
Starting from Kathmandu, you'll reach the remote village of Koto before walking through landscapes that remain largely untouched. The route passes ancient monasteries, carved stone walls, and villages that operate much as they have for generations.
The trek's high point is crossing Kang La Pass at 5,320 metres, where you'll be rewarded with sweeping views of both the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges. You'll walk for days without seeing other trekkers, giving you access to communities and landscapes that remain largely undisturbed. For trekkers seeking an authentic Himalayan experience beyond the crowded circuits, this valley delivers exactly that.
