Today you will travel by coach from Dresden in a westerly direction via the BAB4. Along the way, your coach will make stops as required, for example in Chemnitz, Gera, Jena, Weimar, Erfurt and Eisenach. Your further journey takes you along the BAB5 via Frankfurt/Main to the Rhine-Neckar region with stops in Mannheim and Ludwigshafen, through the Palatinate to Saarbrücken. You will find detailed information on the boarding points under the heading Arrival. If you arrive directly at the hotel by car or train, you will meet your tour guide and your tour group there. We will be happy to provide you with a personalized offer tailored to your arrival with train connections or parking options on site. If you have a long journey, we recommend an overnight stay in a hotel before and/or after the trip.
On your journey, you will pass through Frankfurt/Main and Saarbrücken before reaching Metz on the picturesque Moselle - the proud capital of the Lorraine region. A masterpiece awaits you here: Saint Etienne Cathedral, with its overwhelming 6,500 square meters of window space, it is considered the church with the most magnificent glass art in all of France. Your adventure begins with a relaxed stroll through the historic heart of Metz, led by your tour guide. Your hotel is located on the edge of the city center, from where you can explore the city on an individual walk after dinner.
